Deputy Jaramillo, a proud graduate of Lateral Class #6 (May 2024), was a valued member of our law enforcement community. At just 27 years old, he served the people of Miami-Dade County with professionalism, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to protecting others.
As Major Brayan J. Claros, I want to assure the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office and the families affected that we stand with you during this difficult time.
With the number of private communities we serve and manage throughout Miami-Dade County, this loss deeply touches all of us at the SST. We recognize the daily sacrifices made by those in law enforcement and honor the courage and selflessness of those who serve.
